The 2024 New Zealand Women’s Ice Hockey League schedule has been published, check it out here: https://www.nzwihl.com/schedule/

After a thrilling conclusion to the 2023 season, which saw eventual champions the Auckland Steel win the cup in a penalty shoot out, all four NZWIHL teams will be returning to the ice for 2024 and will be eager to make their mark early in the 2024 season.

Teams will play a five round, round-robin season, followed by playoffs to be held in Queenstown.

We are also proud to announce that Kelly Schultz has been appointed as the NZWIHL General Manager for the 2024 season.

Kelly brings with her a wealth of hockey management experience, having assisted the NZIHL’s West Auckland Admirals in various capacities over the last 6 years, including the last two years as team manager.

“I’m looking forward to working with our teams and the league to grow women’s ice hockey in New Zealand – women’s hockey is growing fast, and we have a lot of talent coming up through the ranks with our younger players”, said Kelly.
